28/08/2008 - The braces and brackets returned today

So started work on riveting the brackets together.  Now I stormed on again and I am going to have stop that because some of rivets were flush so I to drill a couple out !!!  Anyway after reading plans properly they were riveted together.

The braces went on easily as well, no dramas.

The push rods had also returned brightly powder coated, with the smaller push rod has had the rod ends tig welded on.  They look smashing, Bob went crazy with colour and they look a treat in the wing, being powder coated and not just sprayed.

There was just enough time to finish off all the skeletons for the ailerons.  Looks like I will have to drill the rib rivets out of the first one I did the other week though, doh. Leaving that for another day.

Signing off now, getting close to that inspection, but going to rivet the ribs and rear spar for the left wing before that.  Then need to touch up where I have marked the paint, torgue seal some bolts and I am about there.
